On KYOCERA Quick Scan, you can pre-configure all the necessary parameters and functions, specify the location for saving files, resolution and scan quality. It will be possible to perform scanning jobs after fully configuring these parameters.
Scheme for setting up a scanner using the example of a TASKalfa 7550ci connected with a patch cord (twisted pair network cable):
1). Install Kyocera TWAIN Driver.
2). Adding a scanner to the utility settings:
Name – device name
Model, the exact name of which must be selected from the drop-down list
Scanner Address – The IP address previously configured on the scanner
After completing this step, the device should appear in the list of installed and available scanners.
3). Launch Kyocera Quick Scan. The utility does not require installation, so there should be no problems with its operation. If the software does not support the current device model, you need to download and try to run an older version.
4). After starting the program, you need to configure it and you can start scanning.
